SITE PROJECTS

UPDATE ON WORK ON SITE - IMPROVEMENTS, WORKDAYS AND PLANS

As part of the license each plot holder is required to perform 3 hours a year work on communal areas.

The committee arranges and publicise Project days for you to attend.

We have a lot of improvements we want to do, so it is important that everyone does their turn. If a member cannot make a workday then the committee can arrange for a task to be done at another time. If the member has additional time to spare there are plenty of tasks to be done so contact a member of the committee.

CURRENT INDIVUAL

On Plot 7 Improve pond, Requires regular maintence

Path Between plots 45 & 10 Improve defintion of Path. .

Path Between Plots 59 to 62 Improve Steps to these plots and path to very top, new wooden banking and poss new paving slabs

Path Between Plot 2 & 48 Widen steps, new wooden banking boards & renew paving slabs.

Area Behind 27 & 28 Continue to clear area, remove old trees and plant with nut tree - Underway

Paths Below 56, 54 & 57, Above 50, 51 & 52 Put up handrails and plant hedgerow – improve access and stabilize land- Underway

GENERAL ON GOING

> During Summer strim Paths trim back brambles overgrowing over Paths

> Clean up along HOP Fence

> Improve boundary, plant hawthorn & brambles

LONG TERM

> Clear manure delivery area, lay concrete base – to improve area.

> Improve path from main gate passed raised beds to Green Container & Loo – to allow better access. This Requires funding.
